News from Rockford Christian Camp
Our God is an awesome God, and Rockford Christian Camp exists to glorify Him. He shelters us under beautiful trees and whispers to us in the soft winds of summer. At RCC, His word is lifted up, and Jesus is worshiped as the centerpiece of everything in heaven and on earth. His love binds us together and gives grace and harmony to our relationships with one another.
Facebook alert: Let me challenge all our campers and staff with a very important note. In our day, our identity is greatly expanded due to social networking. Please do not present any pictures, ideas, or impressions of yourself on Facebook, Twitter, or other sites which would be inconsistent with our Christian standards at RCC. Such images could disqualify you to work at RCC. Think. We will look at your cyber image as part of your "references." Thanks.
Cabin Keepers
Be sure to visit the Cabin Keepers Foundation page. Join us in this "locust" project! This exciting program will help us to build up our facilities and keep our fees as low as possible. When you visit the Cabin Keepers page you'll meet Lenny the Locust, our newest camp resident.
Belinda Cowdrey is the Manager of the Cabin Keeper Foundation. Belinda is an RCC veteran. She's been on staff and her kids are great RCC alumni. You´ll be hearing from her about Cabin Keepers and she will keep you thanked and informed and get you a year-end tax statement.
